Build dashboards

Holistics AI can create new dashboards or edit existing ones for you. Instead of building each chart, filter, and control by hand, describe what you want and Holistics AI builds the complete dashboard.

How it works

You give Holistics AI something to work from, approve its plan, and get a complete dashboard you can keep refining.

Input

Start from whatever you have:

• An open prompt describing the dashboard you want
• A plan doc
• A sketch or screenshot of the layout, etc.

To use a plan doc or sketch, attach it to your AI chat.

Workflow

Nothing is built until you approve it.

1. Holistics AI proposes a plan: It outlines the metrics, layout, and controls it intends to use.

2. You review the plan: Approve it, or ask for changes first.

3. Holistics AI builds the dashboard: Once you approve, it starts building.

   Accepting Holistics AI's edits

   • In Reporting, Holistics AI's edits are accepted automatically.
   • In Development, you need to review and accept each file change it makes (for example, edits to a dashboard's .page.aml file), so keep the chat open while it builds. Auto-accept and build notifications for Development are coming soon.

Output

You get a complete dashboard with visualizations, filters, and controls arranged into a layout. From there, keep prompting to refine it, for example to add a comparison or restyle the dashboard.

Available in

AI dashboard building is available in both Development and Reporting, so admins, analysts, and explorers can all use it.
