🔔 AI chat notifications: Step away while AI works

AI chat notifications are coming to Holistics AI. You'll be notified when a conversation needs your attention, so you can work on something else while long tasks run.

Why this matters

Some AI tasks take a few minutes to run. Switch to another tab and you won't know when AI is done, or that it has been waiting on your answer the whole time.

What's coming

• Users will get notified when AI chat needs input, finishes, or fails.
• Notification channels:
  • Tab indicator: the Holistics tab title shows a marker when a conversation needs your attention. On by default.
  • Browser notifications: get a popup even when you're in another app. You'll need to enable it from the banner above the AI chat input, or in User settings > Browser notifications > AI chat.

Learn more in Manage browser notifications.

Timeline

AI chat notifications are expected in November 2026.
