AML Data Model Introduction

Please note that the model file has the extension .model.aml. Its full name is model_name.model.aml.

Data model syntax defines a model in Holistics whether that model is created from a native table in your database or a result-set from a SQL query.

Models are typically declared in the model files (one model per file). Dimensions and Measures are also being defined under the model.

Types of Model:

• Query Model
