Refresh an AML model
Introduction
With Holistics 4.0, if modifications have been made to the schema of the underlying tables in your data warehouse (such as deleting/renaming/adding columns), you can refresh the model to sync the new changes to your Data Models.
How to refresh a model
To refresh a model, navigate to Modeling 4.0 > Your Data Model > Refresh model.
Important consideration
Please be aware that not all changes made to the underlying tables are reflected in Holistics in the same manner. Specifically:
- For newly added database columns, corresponding model fields will be added.
- For deleted database columns, the model fields will be kept until you decide to delete them.
- Changes to the data type in the database will affect the data type of the fields.
