Account Setting

The My Account page in Holistics allows you to manage your personal information and preferences.

Here are what you can do on this page:

Switch to light/dark mode

Switch app mode to match your preference or reduce eye strain during long sessions.

How to:

• Open your profile menu (top-left, next to your name) > Appearance
• Choose Light, Dark, or System (matches your operating system's setting automatically)

You can also jump straight to it from the command palette (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P) by searching for "Change app appearance".

• This preference is saved per browser, not per account. Clearing browser data or switching devices resets it.
• Currently, it only affects the main app. Shareable links, embeds, and exports/scheduled reports always render in light mode.
• To control the look and feel of a specific dashboard regardless of this setting, use Dashboard Themes instead.

Personalize information

You can update your profile photo using Gravatar, and add your name, job title, and department. This helps you personalize your information and connect with other users on the platform.

• Role can only be changed by admins. Each role has different control permissions, see User Roles

Change password

You can easily update your password to keep your account secure.

Secure account

You can set up 2FA with your password login to enhance the account security. Read more in the Two-factor Authentication.

Manage API key

If you need access to the Holistics API, you can find your API key on this page. However, please note that you will need to contact your admin to enable API access for you.
