Create Canvas Dashboards in Personal Workspaces

We are thrilled to announce that you will soon be able to save Canvas Dashboards directly to your personal workspace!

What's new​

  • Before: Personal workspaces only support Quick Dashboards. To create as-code Canvas Dashboards privately, you need to wait for admins to set up private folders in the Public workspace.
  • After: You will have access to both Quick Dashboards and Canvas Dashboards in your Personal workspace, providing a complete and flexible dashboard creation experience.

Key Benefits​

  • Instant creation & Full user autonomy: Stop waiting for administrative setup. You’ll have full user autonomy to instantly create and save your private Canvas Dashboards.
  • Git Control: All Canvas Dashboards created in your Personal workspace will be automatically trackable, versionable, and manageable through Git, giving you complete version control.
