If for some reason, the email schedule fails to run and deliver, the schedule owner and the report/dashboard owner will be notified via email on the failure.
If you want to add your Data team or other teams' mailing list to the group, you can set the Email Failure Recipients List option (in Admin Settings)
Email Schedule always runs a fresh query and uses updated data from the user's database (does not fetch cached data).
From our experience, you could use a non-personal email (an email group) to receive those notification failures. This would prevent overwhelming a personal email, plus, multiple people can log in to that email group to help handle these failures (instead of a single person).
